I rarely post videos allowing you to hear diegetic sound, so this is a really big post for me and you. @rachel.kaly and I went to LACMA yesterday and there was some sort of incident outside with a “gunman” and so we were locked inside for what felt like MILLIONS of days (45 mins to an hour). We had already seen everything there was to see in the whole entire building and they would not let us leave and it was SOOOO boring because I don’t respond to art! So here are some photos and videos we shot while we waited. It was interesting that they wouldn’t let us leave but they did in fact keep the gift shop open so we could shop while we waiting for them to apprehend the gunman which during an active shooter lockdown was HECKA AWESOME and I really think we should push, as a country, for gift shops to remain open during all active shootings. Anyways, everything ended up fine and later we found out that the suspect was actually a woman, or “Lady Gunman”, so I sat and held space for that and after listening and learning, i must give props to her and boost that! We really thought the shooter was hiding in the cars 🤷🏻♀️Later I also found out that Rachel had been killed. Which is sad and I might make a separate post about that
