If you’ve been here for a while, you already know—I’ve always been a total sucker for sarees. Over the years, I’ve done countless saree shoots. There was a phase when I was shooting almost 8 days a month purely for saree prints.
Fun fact: when I decided to start a brand of my own back in 2020, sarees were actually where it all began. The vision was simple—sensuous, beautiful prints, elevated embroidery, and truly exclusive blouses. It didn’t take off then (that story deserves its own post), but in 2023 we finally launched @myalmaarii… and honestly, it felt like a full-circle moment.
As much as I love designing lehengas for brides, the single highest-selling design of 2025 turned out to be a saree 🥹❤️
