Nabhangan Foundation undertook a water conservation project across 3 sq.km. in drought-prone Jairam Naik Tanda, Beed.
The Impact:
– Water tables rose
– Irrigated land grew from 36 to 404 acres
– 121 families shifted from sugarcane cutting to farming their own land
Now OUR NEXT PROJECT:
We’ve begun excavation and widening work across around 4 sq.km. And more in Pachegaon village, aiming to support more than 1,225 sugarcane-cutting families.
