At long last, I have book news!! Absolutely thrilled to share that my new novel, CRASH INTO ME, will be on shelves in July of 2026. Published by St. Martin’s Press in the U.S., and Penguin Michael Joseph in the UK — and not a moment too soon, because I have been living and breathing with these characters for a while now, and can’t wait to share them with the rest of you! Huge thank you to @angeliquejackson at Variety for this lovely write up. @miaammer for working her magic. And Richard Pine at @inkwellmgmt, Elizabeth Beier at @stmartinspress and Clio Cornish at @michaeljbooks for making it all possible. And also, the brilliant @davematthewsband for yet another great book title. All the love, Robinne Link in profile. Photo by @theoandjuliet #CrashIntoMe #crashintomebook #CeciliaChen

#FBF That time in the spring when Eric and I were invited to a private viewing of the Mamluks exhibit at the Louvre, on a day the museum was closed to the public, and afterwards one of the curators took us to Denon Wing, and we found ourselves alone with the Mona Lisa. I mean, literally, just me, my husband and the Mona Lisa. And no, we did not take anything… besides this video. #thelouvre #MonaLisa #lajoconde #expatlife
Charles Dickens may have said it best: “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.” Some days, all I want is the comfort of books, drinks, places and memories that feel familiar—that warm, nostalgic pull of remembering. If you, like me, are feeling sentimental about earlier days, I’ve compiled a “pick three” list of novels that bring on that feeling. Books that transport. Books that remind us. Books that let time bend a little. Enjoy the trip back. Link in bio for full article and book descriptions!
I was admittedly nervous when thee Robinne Lee offered to read my debut novel, If I Ruled the World. And when she called me to rave about it, I wanted to weep. I mean: Robinne freakin Lee loved my book…🥹 Robinne and I have been in each other’s orbit for decades. Recently, we discovered that we have a ton of things in common (writing, France, Ivy League, etc) and we’ve become fast friends. I loved her debut novel, The Idea of You, and the movie adaptation (starring Anne Hathaway). And I cannot wait to read Robinne‘s next novel, Crash Into Me!! My novel, If I Ruled the World is set in New York City during the late ’90s and early 2000s, the heyday of hip hop, and follows a young, ambitious woman striving to make it to the top while holding on to her soul. It’s juicy, thought-provoking, inspirational, and fun! Thank you, @robinnelee, for this lovely blurb—and thank you to everyone who’s preordered If I Ruled the World!
