Roisin Conaty Instagram – We are delighted to announce the wonderful Roisin Conaty will receive the Outstanding Contribution to Comedy Award at this year’s Irish Post Awards! 💚✨
After winning the coveted Edinburgh Comedy Award in 2010 for Best newcomer with her stand-up show “Hero, Warrior, Fireman, Liar”, Roisin burst onto the scene and is now renowned, as a comedian, actor and writer.
She appears regularly on shows such as Amazon Prime’s international hit “Last One Laughing”, “8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown” (Channel 4), “Would I Lie to You” (BBC One) and was even an original cast member of the hit show “Taskmaster” (Channel 4).
She has also starred in multi-award winning series such as “Afterlife” alongside Ricky Gervais, “Man Down” for Channel 4 and the period drama “Funny Woman” for Sky.
