A film born from the loss of my mother to cancer that transformed into something much bigger — a story about the relationships we hold close, the moments we fight to protect, and the time we’re blessed to share with the people we love. Freddie and Ryan…my powerhouse leads… thank you for believing in me, for showing up every day with your full, beautiful hearts, and for giving more than I could have ever imagined. You elevated this story in ways I’ll be grateful for forever. To my crew who believed in this project and stood behind me… thank you. Truly. Everyone got to see the first 2 episodes and then I moderated a Q&A with creator and showrunner #adishankar and voice actors @johnnyyongbosch and @undertheseascout. During the wide-ranging conversation, Shankar reveals why the show took 7 years to make, what it was like working with the “Nike” of animation, Studio Mir, how bands like Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach, and Evanescence have responded to the show, and tons more. In addition, Bosch and Taylor-Compton share insights on the creative process, recording sessions, and emotional depth in the upcoming episodes. Described as “a stylish marriage of Desperate Housewives meets Scream,” the eight-episode show is created, written, and produced by Owsley Robinson. It follow three estranged siblings who must deduce the identity of a masked killer at their family’s gilded age estate, while ladies of their late mother’s social circle descend with their own agendas. Christa B. Allen (“Revenge”), Elisa Donovan (Clueless), Cerina Vincent (Cabin Fever), and Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator) star. The cast also includes Robinson, Anthony Del Negro (Deep in the Darkness), Catherine Corcoran (Terrifier), Olivia D’Abo (“The Wonder Years”), Brittany Daniel (Club Dread), Justiin Davis (“Boardwalk Empire”), Tom O’Connell (“Obi-Wan Kenobi”), and Charlene Tilton (“Dallas”).
