On hosting duties for the @santanderuk X Awards for the 5th year running! Half a decade on I still walk away every single time feeling uplifted, energised and genuinely blown away. It’s one of my favourite days of the year and the Santander team are such a joy to work with, somehow the bar just keeps getting higher!
The finalist pitches were extraordinary and a massive congratulations to this year’s winners!
What made the day even more special was the judging panel. To share the stage with Mike Regnier, CEO of Santander UK, @deborahmeaden (yes, the Dragon!) and @clairewilliams_official former Leader of F1 @williamsracing was such an honour. Their insights on building businesses, handling both wins and losses, and pushing boundaries were pure gold.
To every finalist you were truly inspirational. Your passion to solve real problems and reshape the future is the reason innovation thrives. As I joked to myself on the way home …if the opportunity ever came about I’d make a terrible Dragon, I’d have backed them all! 💛
