At .37 seconds of this reel, the pictures might be triggering ❤️‍🩹 I experienced the most painful 3 weeks of my life. Radiation burned inside and outside of my mouth and neck, I lost the ability to speak & swallow. Had to use suction machine for blood and mucus buildup so I won’t choke. Started on Fentanyl patch with morphine every 2.5 hours (highest dosage a person can take), and pouring lidocaine down my throat. 3 weeks of time were a blur, I wanted to scream, but was in too much pain. I even had to skip a day of radiation because my mouth were too bloody had too many blisters for mouth guard. All I remember was starring at the clock through my teary eyes, counting minutes till my next dose of morphine🩸But ultimately I pulled through! Fought like a chef!
