I had a whale of a time at the Wineport Lodge with my sister-in-law, Susan! 🐋 You’ll have to skip to the end to see why I’m talking about a whale—the great white whale we spotted in the lake! 🌊✨ Just 24 hours away from normal life can truly refresh & rejuvenate the soul. ✨ We indulged in the most gorgeous food, cocktails & their new ice cream dessert cocktails 🍹🍦 The next morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast before heading to the Cedarwood Spa, where I had an incredible back massage with Aine, an amazing therapist who used @voyabeauty the Irish brand I bang on about all the time as I 💚 not only the scent but the incredible ingredients as well as the texture-v important 🧖🏻♀️ Feeling revitalized & ready to rock around the Christmas 🎄 tree now! ✨Ready to escape reality for a day✨ I found the most gorgeous getaway that packs the magic of a week into just 24 hours! 🙌🏻 We popped over to @powerscourthotel & honestly, it felt like stepping into a fairytale! 🎃✨ We started with Afternoon Tea upon arrival, & since it was Halloween, it was a Wednesday-themed tea! ☕️ Of course, Mini—who’s a huge Wednesday fan—got to channel her inner Jenna Ortega with her outfit! 👻 After that, it was up to our adjoining family rooms, & while Will & I enjoyed a romantic dinner at the stunning SIKA restaurant, Maxi & Mini had a pizza party plus an Addams Family movie marathon! 🍕🎥 Our visit was to celebrate the launch of the luxurious @omorovicza skincare brand from Hungary. 🧖🏻♀️ So the next morning, I tried out the Moor Mud Treatment with Dan, a therapist who’s been at the Powerscourt Spa for 17 years—would you believe? 👏🏻 It’s the perfect treatment post-summer or pre-summer because it’s literally a treatment from the tip of your nose to the tip of your toes 🙌🏻 My skin felt fabulous afterwards! Meanwhile, Maxi, Mini, & Will explored the gorgeous grounds, soaking in the scenery & snapping pics at the filming locations of ‘Wednesday’—where FYI, my brother Brendan was in some of the fencing 🤺 scenes as a stunt man! It really was a mini-vacation filled with so much to do & see, & I can’t wait to get back there again soon!
