Yasmine Al Massri Instagram – Last night we screened @palestine36film at @thecastlecinema for the day of solidarity with Palestine.. The beautiful and smart @rachel_ramsay moderated the conversation.. I loved the movie theatre, I loved the audience, I loved being reunited with my creative family #billyhowle and @onenils @cornichemedia .. I also loved giving hugs to my people present in the audience, Palestinian and Egyptian, but I loved loved giving hugs to the beautiful human beings, English, Irish, and Indian, who showed up because they care about cinema and believe movies can inspire a dialogue of change, coming together around a better world, the power of the collective versus the greed of the few.. London can lead the world conversation about multiculturalism, it can be a masterclass in nurturing a diverse melting pot of talent.. The humans I met yesterday give me hope.. Thank you Nils for setting this event up with @curzonfilm .. thank you beautiful people for keeping our movie on screen in théâtres all over the UK and Ireland 🫂❤️🫂 Keep going to the movies !!!
