We are joining this celebration from a place of faith and love. Día de los Muertos isn’t about worshiping death or anything dark. It’s a tender tradition of remembering the people we love who have gone before us. Families build small altars with photos, candles, flowers, and favorite foods to say: we haven’t forgotten you, we’re praying for you, and your love still lives here. 💫
As a believer, I honor this day by praying for all souls and thanking God for the gift of eternal love. It’s very similar to lighting a candle in church or saying a prayer. A moment of remembrance, gratitude, and hope. We’re not calling spirits or doing anything against our faith. We’re simply choosing love over fear, memory over silence, and unity over loss. 🤍
So tonight we’ll pause, pray, and celebrate the beautiful lives that shaped us. We honor our ancestors, we comfort the living, and we trust that love is stronger than death. If you’re remembering someone too, I’m praying with you. May their souls rest in peace, and may their light continue to guide us. 🙏🏼♥️
