Zulay Henao Instagram – October 8 marks Latina Equal Pay Day! It’s the day that symbolizes how far into this year Latinas must work to earn what white, non-Hispanic men made last year.
That’s 54 cents for every dollar. Even with a college degree, the gap only narrows to 58 cents. And for Latinas in leadership, it’s 59 cents.
The gap affects everything: home ownership, savings, health, and the ability to reinvest in our own communities.
At Modern Muze, we believe in celebrating our power while fighting for our worth. Let’s use our voices, our influence, and our platforms to demand equity. Not just today, but every day!
