🎭This year marks the 20th anniversary of Broadway Backwards, a spectacular celebration benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and New York City’s LGBT Community Center – and I’m THRILLED to be part of the host committee for this milestone event. 🎶This one-night-only celebration on Monday, March 23, at Broadway’s Gershwin Theatre, brings together a dazzling lineup of Broadway’s brightest stars to honor two decades of joy, creativity and LGBTQ pride on stage. Last year, Blue Bloods alumni (and Tony Award winners!) Len Cariou and Gregory Jbara performed a rousing and hilarious rendition of “Class” from Chicago! I am also fundraising – and your critical donation provides life-saving care and meaningful support in tangible ways: meals, counseling, medication, etc. The link to my donation page is in my bio! Thank you in advance for your generosity. This Thanksgiving, I am grateful for all of you 💝

Ended 2025 by letting the dogs out. It was awesome. Happy 2026, fam. Let’s keep the interwebs- and the real world – fun!
Cut down our own this year. A real behemoth, right in our living room!🎄Merry Christmas! We are ready to welcome The Light!
A lot have asked where to watch @darumamovie for #internationalpersonwithdisabilities The movie Daruma (2023), directed by Alexander Yellen, is available to stream for free with ads on Tubi. Here’s the direct link to watch it: https://tubitv.com/movies/100043415/daruma
Four years ago this month we embarked on an epic journey to make a movie called DARUMA. It was a scrappy, low-budget indie film that starred two leads with disabilities. It took 17 years to make from the time the first draft of the script was written to when it finally screened to a sold-out crowd at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood. No studio knew what to do with it so we said screw it, we’ll do it ourselves! So we did. That little film and leap of faith in ourselves took us to numerous film festivals including Slamdance and brought our executive producer, Oscar-winner Peter Farrelly on board. We got an incredible cast including Golden Globe winner Barry Bostwick and Abigail Hawk of CBS Bluebloods. The film took us to The White House, New York, Park City, Minneapolis, Cincinnati, Atlanta, Boston and more. Our two leads both won Best Acting Awards, including John W. Lawson who won Best Actor at @slamdancegroup and Tobias Forrest who won the Christopher Reeve Acting Award at the Media Access Awards. @reevefoundation @mediaaccessawards We’ve made fans and friends all over the world because we believed in ourselves and our uncompromising vision. We’ve been seen on CNN, Deadline, The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, NPR and more. And all because we said “we believe in ourselves”, even when no one else did. To all of you who have something to say and want to make a movie, go for it. You never know where it will lead you and your voices are needed now more than ever. You can stream DARUMA free on Tubi here: https://tubitv.com/movies/100043415/daruma PHOTO IDS: Several photos and videos in the carousel show behind the scenes images of the making of DARUMA with the cast and crew. #indiefilmmaking #indiefilm #independentfilm #makingmovies #daruma

🦞🍁🌅I don’t know about the rest of you, but I am not about that aggressive #newyearnewme lifestyle. I approach a new year gently, reverently. I let the year find me as I am. I don’t force change. Sometimes, the best medicine is to simply curl up on the couch, snuggle into a cozy blanket with a dog and hot cider in hand, and let your new year begin by finding your new favorite show. Best Medicine is shaping up to be just that. The series centers on Martin Best (Josh Charles), a brilliant surgeon who abruptly leaves his illustrious career in Boston to become the general practitioner to the eccentric townspeople of a quaint East Coast fishing village where he spent summers as a child. Unfortunately, Martin’s blunt and borderline rude bedside manner rubs the locals the wrong way, and he quickly alienates the town, even though he’s all they’ve got. Although Martin can expertly address any medical ailment or mystery in this idiosyncratic town, he’s really just desperate to be left the hell alone. Instead, he keeps getting dragged right smack into the middle of their personal chaos, feuds and fantasies. What the locals don’t know is that Martin’s terse demeanor masks a debilitating new phobia and deep-seated psychological issues that prevent him from experiencing true intimacy with anyone. But tenacity is the creed of everyone in their small village, and the people who live there may be exactly what the doctor ordered. The series also stars Annie Potts, Abigail Spencer, Josh Segarra and Cree. Airs Tuesdays in January on FOX, next day on HULU. #BESTMEDICINEFOX @dramaclubfox @comedyclubfox @impact_ig @smegusa @craftandkindle @llbean @oakandfort
9 is divine! His magic is so very special. A friend to all. Singular, silly, sentimental, sensitive. Fierce animal lover. Every summer day in Maine, he checks the neighborhood pool filter to save any otherwise hapless newts, frogs, mice, voles, beetles, bees… every school day in New York, his routine is to hug his dogs and make sure they know how loved they are. THEN we tie the shoes. Priorities! Voracious builder of Legos and Minecraft worlds and whatever it is they actually do in Roblox. Did his first commercial this year for our good friends @thesconegoddess ! A ham is born! About to be a 1st Dan black belt in taekwondo! Continued to make strides (pun intended!) in cross country! An active participant in The Joy Club at his school – doing good and spreading good with achievable acts of service and kindness in his community! A math wiz! A pull up king! A pretty solid south paw pitcher! A lyric genius! (Literally listens two times and has the whole song memorized)… I look at him often and marvel. I am so proud of him. He moves at the speed of light – but that’s because he *is* light, and we are so so lucky when he shines on us. Happy 9th birthday, my handsome (scratch that – CAPABLE) guy. I love you!
