Anjali Anand Instagram – … today marks 9 years since my first show UNTAG released and I don’t know what happened after that. It’s all a blur.
Every phone call, every meeting, screen tests, auditions, they just kept happening.
I was going through my old stuff today and found a bucket list I had made 7-8 years ago and one point said that- I want to be a working actor for life.
And that’s so true. The only time we work is when we are on a set and the rest of the time, well, we are all completely free and have nothing to do at all and I would rather be on set than be anywhere in the world at any given point.
There was never a decision to be an actor.
It was something I was born with and I never really even tried to do or be anything else. Every single time I perform, the happiness and the thrill it gives me is unmatched. It’s like a drug that I cannot get enough of.
My job gives me a chance to be so many things other than myself and that gives me being me a break. The Lord knows it takes A LOT to be me. Let’s just say, I’m more comfortable between rolling-action-cut.
Also a huge shoutout to everyone involved in this beautiful journey with me from artists to technicians to everyone who I’ve ever worked with. Thank you for the best time 🥰

And I cannot stress enough how much I love to be on sets
So please keep me on a set at all times and cast me in everything. I know what my future holds and it looks pretty damn good to me. Just keep believing and keep the LOVE going.
