The first time I left Atlanta to work with an outside producer (after my beloved Blue Miller ) was when @kedarmassenburg sent me to work with D’Wayne.
My mom got me my 1st cell phone and off we flew to the bay area. I remember having a dream that night about what Kedar wanted D’wayne to accomplish.
I conceived of the IDEA for video in the studio with him listening to them talk about the women in TV LOL!
“Video” would be born a couple years later.
But on that trip we wrote one called “When can we spend the day” …
I last saw D’wayne in 2018 in Alabama for an orchestra show ~ and it was a JOY to see him again … we talked about officially recording “spend the day”
