In September, a large excavation next to our home filled with water during heavy rain. The retaining wall collapsed and the floodwater surged into our property, destroying around one third of our house.
We lost many personal items including the children’s memory box with their baby clothes, photos and school work, first haircuts…etc We lost all electricals and every important document we have ever had plus all Christmas decorations we’ve collected over 27 years together. Walls disintegrated and furniture was torn apart.
Thank you everyone for checking in 🖤 We’re safe and slowly rebuilding.
