Yesterday, I booked one of the biggest TV shows of my entire career.
What a beautiful thing about art and about being human.
In the moment, something can feel like the worst thing imaginable. Like it’s breaking you.
And then time passes… perspective shifts… and you realize:
That moment sharpened you. It forced you to grow. To dig deep.
Good or bad?
We don’t actually know in the moment.
We only know that something is asking us to grow.
To my fellow actors who are in the middle of it right now — the uncertainty, the rejection, the “what am I even doing?” spiral…please hear this:
Your job is not to judge the chapter.
Your job is to keep showing up honest, alive, and open.
That’s where the work comes from.
That’s where the bookings come from.
That’s where the magic lives.
