Kelli O’Hara Instagram – My algorithms are rough, ya’ll. Yours? How have we, as a country, allowed ourselves to be divided so fiercely? How dare we allow anyone to come between us and our own families, our own communities (thankfully, in my case, my family and I are strong, but I am in constant witness of the opposite for so so many). How have we lost the ability to use our own moral compass, our own thoughts, but instead race onto platforms or turn on constant opinion news to “find out” how we should feel? Who we should fear? Let’s learn to trust ourselves again, learn to listen to our better instincts…the ones that tell us to be humane. We aren’t as stupid as some might hope. If we want to be treated with dignity and respect, we must reciprocate. It’s simple really. If we are angry, we must stop and think about why and when it truly started. How dare we allow ourselves to be manipulated. I won’t. I know how I feel about people, all people, especially the ones who are feeling the most lost. I am confident about my dedication to love and life and empathy. So I’m out for a while. This is not the real connection I need right now.
