Our mom had already died and i remember taking so many rides with Alvin all over the 🇵🇭- i am no economist, but nasabi ko kay Alvin prosperous and obviously maganda ang trabaho ni mayor at lalo na ni GOV kung may nadaanan kaming BDO, Union Bank, or East West na yung ATM at least 2 & ma-ilaw; Petron na maraming gasoline pumps, Starbucks McDonald’s and Jollibee face to face and even better if there was Max’s Fried Chicken (these days most celebrations are held in Max), several Japanese & Korean plus a European car dealerships (we love our Kia Carnival; my wish is to climb our Toyota Grandia Elite with no assistance (my nurse inside to pull me up and Bimb to push me- super struggle and for a few days painful my knees and lower back); nag-iipon ngayon for the test vehicle of BMW (alaga these cars and less than 2,000 km ang tinakbo); maraming Western Union; large, reputable hospitals either owned by multibillion conglomerates, DOCTORS, and cities in partnership with doctors; a university that has produced top 10 graduates in any of the courses that need a certificate. It’s obvious this is a list that has evolved… from experience 24 hour gas stations with a 7/11 and clean restrooms are a blessing; strong water pressure in smaller hotels. SM & Robinson’s Malls; Wilcon Depot; maraming Mercury & Watson’s; several subdivisions and multi-use developments, and a well planned Memorial Park. And dapat malakas ang cell signal and PLDT FIBR with at least 300 Mbps at home. Lastly i would tease alvin, mag-impaki na sya ng maleta namin, mag check ng possible schools for Bimb, SPED therapy for kuya, and maghanap ng bahay to rent for us to feel if this is home because nakita ko, may S&R! I need my wheelchair, no sun exposure, i bathe seated, yet my checklist on November 13 will have all i need. If you see someone in a colorful mask, an orange wheelchair, shopping for groceries and toilet paper- that’s me, hindi ako snob- my nurse will have ethyl alcohol and a yellow mask if you want a picture. I❤️S&R… P.S. Noy, your beloved room gets the least light, in heaven hindi pikon diba? The 2 boys & i will sleep there. Your face and your “behave kristina, joshy, BIMB!” We miss you😢
Bimb’s ongoing music classes and afterwards his stage performances lessons plus Kuya’s therapy and workout sessions keep our home a busy one. I’m blessed my 2 boys don’t complain about the many times in a day they need to shower before coming into my room to hug and kiss me. I’m a mama doing her best together with her sons and my nurses, my doctor lives with us because pain management is so important for me to become active with personalized physical therapy. Looking for a very good licensed P.T. Plus 2 male nurses to add to my team as well as 2 male caregivers for night duty. Lastly, we need a chef who is aware about nutritional needs and calorie counting as well as portioning for kuya. I like the idea of bento boxes. I realize how busy you are because of the season- 2X a week is all we need. Good Night @michaelleyva_ only for you would i have climbed your endless steps. To think the @chefjessiesincioco’s catered lunch was my birthday gift and my #happy10thanniversary reminder. Para kay nanay whom i promised she’d be able to listen to a sample of my bimb’s singing. 🎶🎼🎵Have a healthy weekend.
This surgery was delayed from yesterday to very soon because my BP was sky high the whole of Sunday- the culprit, my migraine. Thank you to my pain management doctor Henry Lu and his entire team for finding the right formula although Sunday night and yesterday i was given a pharmacy. Entering the pre-OP area. Kuya was shaking and automatically grabbed Bimb’s hand. I did something right in making sure Bimb grew up knowing he’ll be responsible for his Kuya. And kuya feels secure with Bimb. Going in. #family.
It’s been a very tough 8 weeks but somehow I SURVIVED. This video is about my 2 boys. And why i’m fighting for them. My 18 year old has for now decided to continue with his singing lessons with coach Thor (plus some super star “Titos”who have volunteered to teach him about stage presence and how to make audience rapport fun for all. From the time he was 11 he’s been my companion every time I’ve had to been put to sleep for the numerous procedures I have undergone. A singing doctor- thank you hunny for being the embodiment of what mama had wished for. (There’s a surprise in one of the pics that’s a VIDEO)

It’s midnight as i begin writing this… there are some stuff i heard on line that need clarification: for direk @tonetjadaone sana kinwento mo yung background why tayo na take 2, because na corrupt yung scene when dong’s character was trying to kill me, nakalublub ako from 9 PM to 5:30 AM and what you forgot nakisama ka as well as Direk Ayrin sa Paglublub natin. But walang nagamit. You said when Dong & i were wrapped in our towels, masarap siguro talaga pag Egyptian cotton towels. Game ako, for you and @ayrin anything new that Apple released this 2025 but i have a proposal. Expect a call from Alvin (yes he’s still with me, after more than 20 years) this week… i lost my voice and they had to pack up several days of taping, and umabot ng 180/130 my BP with one of my first severe cases of vertigo (it’s a combination of a Ferris wheel that wants to prove it can also be a scary ride anchors away jurassic park, and Transformers Harry Potter.) And about giving the cough & cold medicine, the girl was seated a table away from me- that time i wasn’t allergic to cold&cough medicine, Alvin politely approached the girl and offered her Tylelon Cold & Cough or Theraflu- she was having a hard time choosing, Alvin said to take both? The Cold&Cough inumin mo na, after the shoot before sleeping the Theraflu. “Pwede pong mag thank you?” “Mag wave ka na lang, hindi sya pweding mabinat.” She waved, i waved. That’s how i remember what transpired. Part 2: Anjo Yllana You filled my room with pink balloons for our first monthsary (hindi ako proud but he said as he started we didn’t last 3 weeks because pinagsabay ko sila ni Robin. Wala syang kasabay. Anjo, ano ba, we were ouside my mom’s house hinatid mo ko- may naghihintay.) It was a big surprise for me & you. You left with these parting lines: mukhang nakakagulo ako, fyi girlfriend ko sya, kahit feeling ko pag gising ko wala na. The Surprise: Girlfriend mo harapan mong binabastus. You don’t trust her? Dumalaw ako dahil isang buwan akong abroad, dala ko yung pasalubong ko… Diba mauuna ka na? I stood unmoving, staring at the floor. (disclaimer i was 21,Anjo was 23-24, Mr. Surprise was 23.)
The song starts with- I DID SOME THINGS THAT I WANT TO TAKE BACK- don’t we all? I saw our picture, holding hands at the start of the year, during one of my “baby dose trials” when my BP was 186/119. He was one of the very few who saw the fear and the tears wanting to fall but he knew only too well I’d only let them fall like typhoon rain when the boys were asleep. I wonder how he is, his sisters abroad and those boys who stole my heart? “Misty water colored memories of the way we were…” We’re learning to be a nuclear family. I admit we have 2 nurses, 2 assistants, several men BUT we set a rule- when it’s dinner time, the 3 of us will eat together and bond like a family… Bawal muna ang gadgets except to listen to new releases and me asking my 2 favorite nurses Elle and Kate, to please get me my note pad because there were particular lines in a song I wanted to write to make sure i remember. Until Bimb asks, mama, what at are you doing? I explain. Then he shows me where all lyrics can be found and how i can underline the ones I like to create lyric cards using my favorite overall template. A sad reminder of aging but a beautiful acceptance that we should always be eager to learn. I disappointed 1 of the doctors i respect the most (the other is my anesthesiologist)… i tried new medicine but it’s just not for me. He wants to help relieve the pain from fibromyalgia. I was saying we could be roommates for 5 night so he could see that when the weather is colder, my bone protrusions have a life of their own. In closing when I told kuya that his Lola’s house would be our house he looked at me angry and said “No, that’s LOLA HOUSE”… i appeased him by saying Lola wanted him to have it- a smile that started in his eyes, made his dimple appear, and a smile for Lola that was full of love and gratitude. The bone pain is awful because of the weather. But this is now part of my life and it hasn’t broken my spirit yet. Probinsyana na si KCA and it’s #lovelovelove P.S. i wasn’t your friend in 2020, but attention Lazada please verify my account. My 2 govt issued IDs are my passport & PWD card. Please? You have this walk in bath tub (hopefully legit)… Temo, please?
This is for me a short post. THANK YOU for continuing to pray for me to get better, for having FAITH that God will make all things possible. I haven’t fully processed what happened, it was supposed to be a minor PICC LINE procedure BUT there was a span of time totaling almost 2 minutes when my lung stopped functioning- i stopped breathing. I credit my anesthesiologist, my 2 surgeons, and as soon as i awakened- the reassuring face of my rheumatologist whose concern & love i felt. In my post-op recovery room, it was future pediatrician/neurologist/or anesthesiologist Bimb’s kiss that made me realize we owe all of you my life- utang namin na buhay pa rin ako, the Holy Spirit guided my doctors and everyone in the OR…as the song lyrics say: And when the night is cloudy there is still a light that shines on me Shinin’ until tomorrow, let it be I wake up to the sound of music, Mother Mary comes to me Speaking words of wisdom, let it be…
I’m not advertising air purifiers but my doctors wanted to surround me with hepa air filtration because i refused for Bimb and me to be separated. I even signed a waiver. Moms will understand me especially after what we went through Dec. 24-26. (That ordeal i’ll share in a video interview.) What are you most grateful for as we close 2025? For me i am most grateful for my sons, my ate Celda and @annebinay & the Binay clan for taking kuya josh in when i was & will continue to be in semi-isolation because of my low resistance; all my doctors but for this last scare @drmikepadlan, @ging.md, @drkatcee, and as promised my new favorite doctor: pain management specialist Dr. Henry Lu (a proud Cebuano) and his fellow, Dr. Angel. My nurses: nurse Kate (get well soon); nurse Mary and my newest & youngest nurse, nurse Kylie (nurse Mary is a Bicolana & nurse Kylie is Ilokana). @alvingagui who simplifies & organizes my life, @rochelleahorro, and the returning jack. My friends from design, entertainment, politics, media, business, religious groups, and my longtime friends who you don’t know about. Maraming bago in 2026 sa buhay ni Bimb at buhay ko. Please continue to help us pray for unwavering faith that the new year can only get better. To my followers & all praying with me, i’m alive because of your prayers for someone you don’t personally know but have adopted as one you feel deserving of your time in prayer. Lilipas ito at makakabawi ako sa kabutihang loob ninyo. 💛 my body is at its weakest but my spirit is still #fighting
This “carousel” of photos and videos happened January 24 6:30-10PM; January 25 from 4 PM to 6:45 PM. i said yes to have my PortaCath re-done. Thank you to my cousin in law Dr. Nic Cruz who arrived 1 AM from a conference in Singapore and vascular surgeon Dr Jeff Chua. Thank you Dr Jonnel Lim, @ging.md, @drkatcee, not pictured BUT nagpuyat until 4 AM Friday sa pagbantay when i urgently needed to try a new medicine BUT had an allergic reaction, and again kept me company until Bimb arrived “home” it’s our monthsary here in SLMC Global, head of Rheumatology Dr Jombi Lichauco. My chronic pain is being managed by the brilliant Dr Henry Lu and his 2nd year fellow for pain management and now my friend Dr. Angela. My personal nurses (happy birthday Nurse Kate!) led by Nurse Elle, Nurse Ky, and Nurse Mark. The nurses here in the 16th floor and all assigned in the OR and recovery room- thank you for continuing to have faith in my recovery. January 25 is my mom’s birthday. My mom never publicly shared with you all the excruciating operations and procedures she endured, and the difficult choices she made. She protected her privacy. i’m now choosing to post pictures/videos but not give detailed medical info. Kapag gumaling ako, that’s when i should share what i wrote in my journals, the many witnessed holographic instructions should anything happen, and my many playlists. Thank you Senator @robinhoodpadilla for your Wednesday visit and @erichgg & @rbchanco for Friday night’s visit. My blood earlier gushed out, i saw it because i was kept awake the entire time. My mom i know kept me SAFE. Until my wound heals completely we can’t move in to our semi permanent residence. (Our home in Tarlac is the other.) Thank you for your prayers and concern. Please change #fighting to #brave? i thank God for all of you. You don’t need to know how much i suffer, you need to see that i’ll continue praying and believing that i will reach remission. With the correct safety protocols, pwede akong mag taped as live video podcast. I MISS DOING INTERVIEWS! Will you watch & subscribe? Like this post if you want my podcast to start soon with a partial home tour? My birthday gift to you. 💛

Friends have been sharing with me probably the 80th bad taste “wishing KRIS dead post” BUT FROM THE PERSOM in that sick post YOU ARE A LIAR! “supposedly i was laughing at a family gathering then i collapsed” plus an AI photo of me looking like i was fighting for my life was included. This IS a photo of me taken Wednesday night while i was enjoying a James Patterson book on my iPad. I’ve questioned what it would be like IF my situation got worse after an infusion and my doctors came to my hospital room after an infusion that just like during another test dose that my body reacted so safely to, this was now proving to be so wrong for my body and proving to help the harmful and deadly autoimmune disease cells near my lungs and heart at a very alarming rate and within 3 days I could have a stroke, a heart attack, an aneurysm or cardiac arrest. But to the a**hole playing with my LIFE, I’ve seen my Cojuangco cousins individually but because my immunity is now very low, I AM IN ISOLATION, with kuya and bimb’s company only after they haven’t gone out, or have showered and have taken the 5 in 1 test: COVID, RSV, ADENO, MP, and the FLU. Am I complaining about the ISOLATION? NO, Because the time has given me the chance to keep reading works of authors i love. And to the one with the idiotic post, the risks of RITUXAN can be very great to those who have a history of other medical conditions including: Heart problems and Irregular heartbeat; Chest pain; Lung or kidney problems; Other possible severe allergic reactions. My doctors (a team of 7 for this infusion) kept asking me if i was sure because while doing my test dose, my body reacted weird to the steroid I needed to take with RITUXAN; 4 of my autoimmune problems affect my lungs and about 6 affect my heart yet my pulmonologist and cardiologist gave her and his go signal. Thank God they did. I’m not yet in full remission but the red flares that felt like my face was BURNING and my all night dry cough have lessened. Let’s keep praying. God is listening.
