Lucy Davis Instagram – This video was sent to me by @carolynthomas3262 who was part of arranging this beautiful sight! It’s to help raise awareness for organ donation. As some of you might know, I had a kidney transplant in 1997 (almost 28 years ago now!) and my wonderful mum donated one of her kidneys to me. Back then, live donors weren’t done anywhere near as much they are thankfully done today. It’s my understanding that the procedure is simpler and quicker today than it was nearly 30 years ago. Please consider donating if you can. It doesn’t just save a life; it gives someone the chance to live a brilliant life, one where you’re not just surviving, but getting back the ability to really live.
