There are no words to express how heartbroken I am at the passing of Rob and Michele Reiner. I had the great privilege of working with Rob on the film “Flipped,” and to this day regard him as one of the kindest directors I have ever worked with. I remember at the callback for Flipped, Rob said, “Kid, if you want the role, you got the role, just don’t go out there and tell everyone.” Years later I heard Kiefer Sutherland recount that Rob had done the same with him when he auditioned for Stand By Me. I’ve watched When Harry Met Sally no less than a hundred times. Truly the funniest and most talented man. All my love goes out to his family. You will be missed by the whole world.
