Staccato – one of the most difficult bow techniques for violinists. Most virtuoso pieces have a passage including this bow technique to show off skills (like this one in the “Introduction & Rondo Capriccioso by Saint-Saens) Some are born with it and some must practice it (like me) 😂😂 I’m kidding 😅 it’s either a very controlled technique – essential for right and left arm coordination- or its arm spasms which might work if you’re lucky🤦 #understandingviolin #violintechnique
