My mother was born in Madikeri, Coorg in Karnataka as Kamath and a Gsb – Gaud Saraswat Brahmin and her family Kuldevta is at the Mangeshi Temple in Ponda, Goa. Akshai my husband ,also a GSB has the Varde family’s Kuldevi at the Shanta Durga Temple which is 15 mins away from the Mangeshi temple also in Ponda, Goa .
