The beauty of turning older, is learning how to place your name at the top of your priority list.
We spend so much time putting other people’s needs before our own and over time resentment starts to build.
And once you understand that you can only give what you have it teaches you how to fill your cup better. If you continue to allow that resentment to fester, it will start to pour out of you.
Instead, start investing in yourself, taking care of your own needs, loving yourself, being patient with yourself and in time you’ll see how your heart will start filling up with love and tenderness and that’s the real gift you want to give those around you.
But first, love thyself!
