I am so excited to announce that WATER GIRL is an official selection at the Academy Awards Qualifying Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival 2025. Incredibly blessed and grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such an amazing celebration of films from the African diaspora.
Water Girl is a supernatural drama film based on the Ọgbanje mythology— deeply rooted in the authenticity of old Nollywood while exploring new horizons of modern cinema. I can’t wait for you all to see this film, it’s going to be a great year.
