If your heart keeps tugging at you to create something and imposter syndrome keeps creeping in please take this story of mine as a sign to silence the critic in you. You don’t have to be of a particular “aesthetic,” particular “body type,” have a particular background or degree, or have “connections” to pursue whatever your heart keeps telling you to do.

For a girl who didn’t even associate herself with bikinis and swimwear to making a whole brand out of it it’s been such a journey. After going on our honeymoon to Bali it had me in my feels. From completely stepping out of my comfort zone and wearing my first bikini in Bali, to a few years later manufacturing my first round of samples for @swanathelabel there to going back this year for our honeymoon wearing my creation.. what a full circle moment it was.

Sitting in my feels in Bali I immediately felt the need to document everything I was feeling and that now has transpired into the voiceover you’re hearing. I wanted to share this piece with you all to encourage you to not box yourself. To not limit yourself. To follow your heart. To challenge your limits and create. Create for you. Create for the inner child in you. Create for the community. Create for whoever. Just create 🎨
