This cake isn’t for a milestone.

This year didn’t come with a manual.
Some days I felt proud, some days I felt lost.
There were wins I never announced and struggles I never showed.
I saw myself on a billboard and quietly smiled.
I bought my dream car and thanked patience.
I learned to save, to show up consistently,
and to take care of my body a little better than before.
But there were things I didn’t achieve too.
The dream of owning my own home is still loading.
I doubted myself, compared my journey,
overworked without resting enough,
and forgot to celebrate myself on the way.
Still, I’m grateful.
Because growth doesn’t always look like success.
Sometimes it looks like survival.
Sometimes it looks like learning.
Sometimes it looks like staying.
