If you’re mourning the demise of MTV, well don’t. From what I know nothing’s changing in India. India shut down the music part of MTV a while ago. I’m not the best person to state this – but I think MTV Beats and Vh1 were shut down a few months ago? Now Europe / US are apparently doing the same. They’re going to focus on reality as well. It’s sad in a nostalgic way but with the adventure of streaming, on-demand tech etc, it was kind of inevitable. We’ve got a bazillion memories though. Not just for all of us as VJs, but for millions of people who watched what MTV played, allowing them a glimpse@of the world, besides the one they knew or were accustomed to. Best years of my life? You bet!!
