Courtney Eaton Instagram – I’ve always been deathly scared of people hearing my inner thoughts, and music is my innermost thoughts. I’ve never felt I could verbalize my opinions the way I played them out in my head, but there was an ease when I wrote. This is a small collection of songs I’ve written over the past few years. You may recognise ‘Growing Pains’ from our film Parachute.
Thank you to Tobias Jesso Jr. for producing this EP and guiding me to finally let people in. Without you, my songs would have remained in my notebook and whispers. These songs are stripped-down and demo-esque, with some recorded on my grandfather’s guitar. I’m scared as shit, but I’ve been avoiding this long enough. Here’s to scary things and doing them more often. My debut EP, HUSH, is out now on all streaming platforms.
