📍: Boudhnath Stupa is one of the largest Stupas in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The place holds profound spiritual energy. Stupa features a massive white dome and the painted eyes represent the all-seeing wisdom of Buddha. The symbol between the eyes is the Nepali number “1”, symbolizing unity.
Upon landing at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu, Nepal; Khada was presented (see the eleventh slide). Khada is a traditional ceremonial scarf offered as a symbol of respect, blessing, goodwill and purity in Nepal and Tibetan Buddhist culture.
