Jackie Cruz Instagram – I think the most powerful role I’ve ever played is that of a mother.
It’s the hardest, most beautiful thing I’ve ever done. It’s about being strong when you feel like collapsing. It’s about holding space for your own fear and then letting it go.
It’s waking up every day and choosing to be more not just for yourself, but for the little eyes watching you. Because their happiness is so deeply connected to yours. They feel your light, your joy, your pain. And so I choose happiness. Even on the hard days. Especially on the hard days.
I just want to say congratulations to all the mothers out there. This journey is no small thing.
I’m 37 weeks pregnant right now, and I feel everything all at once scared, joyful, overwhelmed, deeply loved. And grateful. So grateful to feel. I love to feel ask my husband, he’ll tell you.
