Her strength in the role is sharpened by a deeply collaborative creative process with director Rae Red, who previously worked with her on Babae at Baril. “We had a lot more time to brainstorm on the character, and she had her own inputs on the role,” Rae shares.
Beyond the series’ thrilling tension, Rae hopes the emotional core of the mother-and-daughter story resonates just as powerfully. Agot Isidro, who plays Sabina’s mother, speaks highly of Rae’s clear and thoughtful perspective as a creator. Meanwhile, Janine’s dynamic with Charlie Dizon, who portrays Sabina’s love interest, introduces another compelling layer to the story.
