Jennette McCurdy Instagram – my friend @mariasemple threw me a book party. the night was magical. i met so many authors i admire and respect. we talked and laughed and i felt a warm and deep sense of belonging. my people ! and what people they are. no one had an agenda. no one looked through me or over me, just at me. they connected. they were genuine. they were thoughtful. they were smart (every conversation included at least one reference i had to look up later but let’s keep that between us.)
also can we take a moment to appreciate molly ringwald’s style !!
also also – my author friend chris farley (8th picture) came. he was the first person to give me an opportunity to write back in my early twenties, for the wall street journal. it was lovely to get to thank him in person.
