Lea Salonga Instagram – “Live music feels like a privilege in 2025. I worry it could disappear. Every concert still jolts me: the vibration, the sound, the electricity in the air. It’s a kind of communication that’s essential to being alive.
But so many venues are struggling because people would rather stay on their screens. I see it with my students. Last week, I took twelve middle school choir kids to see Lea Salonga. It was just Lea, a band, and two backup singers; nothing flashy, no big production. She just stood there and sang. And they were riveted.
