Mamta Mohandas Instagram – Joyalukkas Foundation announced ₹2 crore in medical support for 1,000 cancer patients across Kerala—a heartfelt step towards compassion, care, and hope for those who need it most.
Was an honour to be part of a truly meaningful initiative in the esteemed presence of Shri Joy Alukkas himself who finds both the heart and time to give back to the community and help those in critical need during difficult times and this is just one of many. As he said .. the joy is in the giving and the more he gives he realizes it’s not enough.
Along with us was Mrs. Jolly Joy Alukkas, Oncologist Dr. Chithraratha K. and Dr. Niji Justin, the Mayor of Trissur; who spoke on the vision of the foundation and the challenges that stand before us while the need for financial assistance in cancer care is endless; Plans in the future of medical treatments especially highlighting the importance of prevention rather than just being focused on cure; and focus on cancer in women alongside creating an infrastructure for recreation for both health care workers and doctors in medical facilities who are faced with challenges and stress of their own as well which may result in more encouragement and motivation to provide better attention and compassionate care to those in need, respectively.
