Parvathy Instagram – 2025 December marked 20 years of being an actor in the Indian Film Industry. When I started, I was told the ‘shelf-life’ of a female actor is 6-7 years at most. I was told “make the best of it, do as many commercial movies as possible so you can make a ton of money – your values or activism won’t make your rich”.
Jokes on all of them. I’m rich in life, as I have my family by my side always. I’m rich in life, as I’ve the best friends supporting me. I’m rich in life, as I’ve nurtured the ability to reflect on myself consistently to choose humanity over clout. I’m rich in life, and in craft; even as I may be a proud whistleblower- I find like-minded, brilliant story tellers who cast me for powerful roles!
