Renuka Shahane Instagram – I first saw Renuka Shahane on the popular DD show #Surbhi in the early ’90s — that luminous smile, that unmistakable warmth — and I was instantly drawn to her. Then came Hum Aapke Hain Kaun and many films after, but what always stood out was her grace and quiet strength, both on and off screen.
Years later, when I was going through a particularly trying time — Renukaji was one of the rare few who spoke up for me on Twitter with courage and compassion. I’ve never forgotten that. When we met again for this project (more on that soon!), the warmth and affection felt instantly familiar, as if we’d known each other for years.
Because at the heart of it, what we all seek are collaborators who care as deeply — and in that exchange, discover something that feels true.
