It was just an ordinary day, or so I thought, at the pool and favorite place, the beach. The waves were singing their usual song, the sun spilling gold over the water, and the wind carrying that salty scent I love so much. I was barefoot, laughing at something silly he said, when suddenly he stopped walking.
