It was a bright Sunday morning. Riya decided not to rush anywhere. She made a cup of tea, sat on the balcony, and watched the birds fly freely in the blue sky.
For the first time in a long week, she felt calm. She smiled to herself and thought, “Sometimes doing nothing is also a beautiful plan.”
She spent the day reading, watering her plants, and talking to her best friend. By evening, the sunset painted the sky orange, and Riya felt grateful.

ഒരു തിളങ്ങുന്ന ഞായറാഴ്ച രാവിലെയായിരുന്നു. രിയ ആ ദിവസം എവിടെയും ഓടിപ്പോകേണ്ടതില്ലെന്ന് തീരുമാനിച്ചു. അവൾ ഒരു കപ്പ് ചായ തയ്യാറാക്കി, ബാല്ക്കണിയിൽ ഇരുന്ന് നീലാകാശത്തിൽ സ്വതന്ത്രമായി പറക്കുന്ന പക്ഷികളെ നോക്കി.
ഒരു ആഴ്ചയ്ക്കു ശേഷം അവൾക്ക് മനസ്സിൽ ഒരു ശാന്തതയുണ്ടായി. അവൾ ചിരിച്ച് ചിന്തിച്ചു — “ഒന്നും ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കുക എന്നതും ഒരു മനോഹരമായ പദ്ധതി തന്നെയാണ്.”
ആ ദിവസം അവൾ പുസ്തകം വായിച്ചു, ചെടികൾക്ക് വെള്ളം നൽകി, സുഹൃത്തുമായി സംസാരിച്ചു. വൈകുന്നേരം സൂര്യാസ്തമയം ആകാശം ഓറഞ്ച് നിറത്തിൽ മിനുക്കിയപ്പോൾ രിയയ്ക്ക് നന്ദിയുണ്ടായി.
പാഠം: ഒരു ശാന്തമായ ഞായറാഴ്ച, ശക്തമായ ഒരു തിങ്കളാഴ്ചയ്ക്ക് കരുത്ത് നൽകും.
