Not least, your epic advice which often comes in the form of such wisdoms as “Sure that fella doesn’t know if he needs a shave or a haircut”, “Don’t don’t mind them, they wouldn’t know their arse from their elbow”, “stop running around like a blue arsed fly!” and “sure you may as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb!” (which I’m still not entirely sure the meaning of but I nod and agree with every time)
To my own three, I adore being your Mum. Even if so much of it involves wondering what the hell I’m at and hoping against hope I’m doing some/any of it right. I’d choose you guys a million and one times over. I know I keep saying I’ve kept the receipts if I change my mind and want to bring you back (of course I can’t. They’re well expired). Even if I do have to answer 2,457 questions a day and you guys have turned me somehow knowing the answers into an extreme sport.
Really hoping I can get onto MasterMind for the chosen specialized subject of “Mum, what do you think a ferret’s cough sounds like?”
