One thing people can never make me feel bad about, it’s the path i have chosen in this life. I’ve learnt to use my voice, and listen when that is needed. I’ve learnt to speak my mind, and not be frightened when the world tells me to stay silent. This is something I have actually, learnt from all of you – all our voices are equally as important. Mine may get more hatred in return, because I wear a face many people know. But this does not matter. Me and you. All of us. We should never stop fighting simply because it’s difficult. I would never unleash hatred upon this world. We should never be blamed when we are trying to be better. And we should never feel bad for asking for change, even before the people are ready for it. I will reward you for trying. And never pester you about not trying enough. I want to thank you all for making the world so large for me. I am extremely proud and honoured to have met so many of you. It has pushed me to think larger. And i believe as an artist, this is a very important thing. I will never stop talking about the environment. About the future. About our ancestors. About music and the soul. About racism. Feminism. About all indigenous people deprived of their homeland. Cause these are things that concerns all of us. As people. I don’t speak up, because I believe that I do everything right. I will never be perfect. And neither will you. This is human. And being human is ok. I speak about these things exactly because I’m human, and i want to change the patterns of the world that we all rely on, that we all know is hurting us. We live in the world we got, and there is so much about it that forces us to make unethical choices everyday. But we should never let that scare us away from speaking our mind. Standing up for each other. And doing what is right. It’s an honour to be fragile, and sensitive. Cause it also means you get to learn that you can also be strong. I know many people get frightened when i use my political voice. When i awaken the activist inside of me. But we should never allow ourselves or be more scared of activism, than the problem itself. Thank you again @kimmika you legend of a woman.
