Beauty Gonzalez Instagram – Everyone imagines the Iconic Siliman University when thinking about schools in Dumaguete , and rightly so.
It’s a stunning property,
But has anyone living outside ever heard of
Foundation University?
Didn’t think so.
I used to live a stones throw away from this place and I had absolutely no idea how beautiful it was on the inside,
I just saw its ivy covered walls as I drove past almost everyday of my young schoolgirl life.
The facades’s Ivy League’ish vibe was impressive enough
but wow , the details on the inside was breathtaking.
A campus filled with wonderful architectural details,
Very Arts and Crafts,
metal railings that are aesthetic and made on campus, functional and dramatic architecture in every corner,
even terra cotta details on flooring are wonderfully abstract yet traditional.
It felt like I was inside a vast art studio.
Art objects were everywhere.
Some studied and intentional,
some just scattered elegantly accidental.
But don’t take my word for it,
On your next visit to Dumaguete
You must include this Campus on your itinerary!
Get inside and open your eyes ,
I hope you see what I see. 👁️
FU as it is affectionately called around here,
is definitely a destination for every Design Lover,
Arguably the most beautiful campus I have seen anywhere in the Philippines .
If I knew then what I know now,
I think this would have been a lovely place to learn.
Perhaps I would even have gotten higher grades,
