I hear this all the time: “I can’t meditate. My mind is too busy.” And honestly… same. One thing I loved from this conversation with @danharris is the reminder that meditation isn’t about clearing your mind. Because apparently that’s impossible unless you’re enlightened… or dead. So if you’ve been sitting there trying to have zero thoughts and feeling like you’re failing, you’re so not alone. The point isn’t to become some perfectly calm, thoughtless monk. It’s just to focus your mind for a few tiny seconds. Literally a few nanoseconds. Something neutral, like noticing your breath going in and out. That’s it. So if you think you’re uniquely bad at meditating because your brain is loud and chaotic… congratulations. You’re just a regular human with a brain. Welcome to the club. listen now on @audible or wherever you get your podcasts
