I will never forget my 20th birthday with you, staying up until sunrise, laughing the whole night away. You were always the life of the party, the one who could make any room feel lighter just by being there.
When I came home to Indonesia during summers in college, we always found time to meet. Those quiet catch-ups over sincere meals are memories I’ll never forget. Moments that weren’t shared online, moments that allowed us to simply be present.
Somewhere along the way, life took us in different directions. I don’t really know when or why that happened. But even as you grew and changed over the years, one thing about you never did: your kindness. The way you loved people so openly. Seeing how many people are mourning you now doesn’t surprise me at all, you were deeply loved. 🤍
I’m sorry I wasn’t around more, but please know that I always admired you. I really struggled to choose what images captured you. In the end I chose photos and videos from this particular night because they reflected the Vidi I’ll always remember: the kind, joyful soul who brought people together, even when life was hard.
