As actors are getting pressured to have an online presence, the 28-year-old would rather run away from the unnecessary noise. For her, it’s the other screen she wants you to focus on – the one in which an indescribable amount of pure grit and determination allowed her to take on the role of Abby, an engineering biologist who finds herself in perilous, icy conditions after surviving a helicopter crash, in the 2025 sci-fi thriller @theoccupantfilm.
Sitting down with Wonderland for our 20th anniversary issue, the actor reflects on filming in the grueling wilds of Georgia, drawing strength from her personal journey to pour her whole heart into the film, and shares the enduring advice comedian trevornoah gave her.
