Who knew when @jeffreydeanmorgan took the role of Negan (back when Gus still had his baby teeth!) that it would spark the beginning of a huge chapter of our lives? I can’t emphasize how rare it is in our industry to have such a familial and long term relationship with a studio. I love it. I love it so so much.
This show is a dream come true. When I first became friends with @nikolainiceguy I was holding on to my innermost fears & hopes and truths, which I dared not share with anyone. But my cold black heart recognized something familiar in his cold black heart. And together we’ve been able to conjure up a world that we’re really excited to see on screen.
I’m so grateful that Nick and I get to have his new adventure together and that I have a teammate who is so willing to “go there”. Dig deep. Push buttons. God, we have so much fun together!
I’m grateful to Jeffrey for his endless belief in #mischieffarm productions and the feedback & support he’s given as a producer on this project. He’s so smart. Also….he’s a supreme kisser.
I’m grateful to @the_woman176 and @lizzy5445 for seeing the version of me that I wanted to become rather than focus on what I had done in my youth. You’ve given me the freedom to try so many new things and take wild risks.
I’m grateful for the guidance of @jordanmanekin, who understood my goals and has fought for me as I’ve shifted from in front of the camera work to behind the camera.
I’m grateful for the countless crew members & creatives who have let me sit in on meetings and wear headsets and ask a billion questions.
And I’m grateful for our AMC family. They really understand the value of storytelling. And so whether it’s telling true stories through our documentary series or dreaming up fantastical worlds, or even just sitting on a couch with my husband and interviewing our friends, @amc_tv has given us the place to tell a wide range of truths.
