Janel Parrish Instagram – It was raining in Topanga Canyon the day @janelparrish decided she was done being quiet.
Inside Elsewhere Hotel, the world felt cinematic. What she shared was not.
In honor of Endometriosis Awareness Month (Endo Month), our cover star opens up about her battle with stage 4 endometriosis — the fear it could be ovarian cancer, the first surgery that failed to remove the disease at its root, the hormone suppression treatments that left her feeling unlike herself, and the six-hour excision surgery that finally changed everything.
Under the care of endometriosis specialist @dririskerinorbuch and surgeon Dr. Rayan Elkattah, Parrish underwent excision surgery in December 2025.
“They were shocked at the amount of disease I had,” she says. “Endometriosis was basically everywhere. All of my organs were stuck together.”
For the millions of women navigating pain, delayed diagnosis, fertility fears, and silence — this story is for you.
“Enough is enough,” she says. “Help us. Hear us.”
