What’s their secret? Wealth — and the equal distribution of it. A welfare state that cushions people from economic shocks. And long, healthy lives. Nordic nations also have social media, but they’re far better at limiting its use — especially for kids.
Experts say heavy social media use — particularly among teen girls — is a big reason Western countries keep slipping.
Not exactly shocking, but still a little sad, right?
