Kirsten Vangsness Instagram – LOOK. I get to choose who I give my business to and if I don’t like the behavior of a business, I don’t have to give it my money. I find the 🧊 ads that @spotify is allowing offensive and cruel, and I don’t roll knowingly with things that are either one of those. @spotify there is no amount of convenience that’s worth sliding into treating cruelty as normal. I want to remind everyone that this is my virtual lawn and the best thing you can do if someone is rattling off a bunch of how they don’t agree with me is to let them scream into the void. If you respond back, you are giving a dopamine hit they are aching for… The best thing you can do is let them scream into the void, and then they can recognize that ache and heal themselves instead of telling me in my virtual lawn that I should stick to acting or I don’t know what I’m talking about or what have you. Anyways… go do some tiny and imperfect thing to make the world a little better. It all counts, some people just wanna make you think it doesn’t.
