A few random thoughts:
•I highly recommend getting to know your neighbors.
Mine are precious and sweet and have become oh so dear to me. Your community is not far away.
•My brother and I are about to enter a demanding adventure together and we are working to anchor in to remembering that challenges approached with humility are, or, at least they can be – character building. I believe that preparing one’s self to orient towards the potential good that can be discovered from different kinds of challenges can be a way to train your heart and mind for increasingly expansive ways of relating to future difficulty, suffering and hardship. Useful stuff. IMHO 🫶🏼
We’ve also been looking to see how we can be as self-reliant as possible, to minimize how burdensome we are on others while making sure we have a little extra to share, too.
All of these preparations and contemplations have felt specific to our adventure and yet very much in alignment with the times where we all seem to find ourselves…
